South African drummer Kevin Naidoo & pianist Kyle Shepherd play live, and saxophonist Marcus Strickland and drummer Kendrick Scott talk about their Blue Note Records supergroup's East Coast debut. The group, "Our Point Of View," also features keyboardist Robert Glasper, trumpeter Ambrose Akinmusire, guitarist Lionel Loueke, and bassist Derrick Hodge, and was created to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Blue Note Records.

"Out Point Of View" performs at New York's Le Poisson Rouge on December 12 at 7:30 p.m., in their only East Coast appearance. The concert is a benefit for WBGO.

Shepherd and Naidoo are among the artists featured during WBGO's trip to South Africa March 20-30, 2015.
